[grisbi-user] Split of transaction

How does "brake down" transaction work? In user manual it is written that 
after selecting "brake down" in category list new button "brake down" will 
appear that would open new form if clicked. In that category list there is 
no "brake down" but there is "split of transaction" that I assume is the 
same. After selecting it nothing happens and it's not possible to defined 
split transaction.
Is this functionality working or I'm doing something wrong?
