Grisbi creates categories with a growing number without looking the alphabetical
order.

When creating an account file, grisbi imports categories located in the
/usr/local/share/grisbi/categories directory under linux and in C:\ rogram
Files\Grisbi-version\share\grisbi\categories.
The only explanation I have for the problem would be an import of a new category
file.
