Summary:                    Can't see notes field for split transaction
Description: 
I can't see the notes text for sub transaction of a split transaction. Only
Category, debit and credit fields are filled.

As of version  0.6.0, the form is customizable. To display the Notes field
in the form, go to Edit, Preferences, Transaction form, Content.

Could you try that and tell us if it worked ?

Checked that before reporting problem in the first place.

In the mother transaction all fields show as defined in the transaction
form layout,but not for the children of split transaction.
Only amounts and category show up on the list, the notes field for the
children remain empty, the only way to see what is the child transaction is
to open the edit form.

If I've understood well , the problem is about transaction list and not
transaction entry form , and it's true with Window Vista too , the notes
are not displayed for children while displayed for mother and normal
transactions
