Summary: copie de sauvegarde non fonctionnelle
Description:
Bonjour,
Certaines copies de sauvegarde ne se font pas automatiquement.
Steps to Reproduce:
dans les paramètres, j'ai coché la case 'Effectuer une copie de sauvegarde
toutes les 5 minutes'
et décoché la case ' créer un fichier de sauvegarde unique'
Les cases 'copie de sauvegarde à l'ouverture' et 'copie de sauvegarde à la
fermeture' sont également cochées
Seules les copies de sauvegarde à l'ouverture et à la fermeture sont créées.

j'ai installé la version 1.9.0-e0d1e203e
seule la copie de sauvegarde à l'ouverture s'exécute correctement. Les copies
de sauvegarde à la fermeture et toutes les 5, 10 ... minutes ne s'exécutent
pas.
J'ai installé grisbi sur une machine virtuelle OSX vierge, J'ai essayé en
changeant le nom du fichier gsb, en diminuant le nombre de caractères, en
changeant le dossier de destination mais rien n'y fait
Je pense que mon report précédent était erroné. Seule la sauvegarde lors de
l'ouverture devait se faire, comme maintenant

Je viens d'essayer de désinstaller grisbi et le réinstaller pour avoir une
version propre mais il reste quelque chose qui ne part lors de la
désinstallation, c'est le choix du dossier utilisé pour la sauvegarde
sauvegarde.
Dans la nouvelle installation, c'est toujours mon ancien dossier de sauvegarde
qui est proposé alors que lorsque j'ai fait l'installation sur la machine
virtuelle, j'avais bien le dossier par défaut
Qu'est-ce qu'il faut supprimer manuellement pour tout désinstaller?

Vous avez raison. J'ai dû raté un truc dans mon correctif.
Pour une désinstallation complète il faut aussi effacer le dossier
~/Library/Application Support/Grisbi/
et les fichiers ~/Library/Preferences/org.grisbi.Grisbi.plist et
~/Library/Preferences/grisbi.plist

Si le problème n'est toujours pas réglé il me faut une trace d'exécution. Il
faut installer grisbi dans le dossier /Applications puis dans un Terminal il
faut lancer Grisbi par :
/Applications/Grisbi.app/Contents/MacOS/Grisbi
Grisbi va afficher plein de lignes. Il faut joindre ces lignes au présent
rapport de bug.

Pour les sauvegardes, dans le dossier où elles sont stockées, un seul nouveau
fichier étati créé, lors de l'ouverture. Aucune création en cours
d'utilisation et aucune création à la sortie. C'était vrai avant-hier.
Je viens de vérifier à l'instant. J'ai totalement désinstallé grisbi hier,
redémarré l'ordinateur etc...et réinstallé grisbi 1.9.0-b donc j'ai une
installation de grisbi réellement propre. Il y a bien création d'une nouvelle
sauvegarde à l'ouverture. À la fermeture, la sauvegarde n'est créée que si
une opération a été créée ou modifiée.
Par contre, pas de création de sauvegarde intermédiaire. J'ai ajouté une
opération dès l'ouverture et attendu 8 minutes avant de fermer grisbi et rien
n'a été créé après 5 minutes.
Je teste demain la nouvelle version.

J'ai essayé en changeant le chemin du dossier de sauvegarde, en simplifiant le
nom du fichier grisbi mais à priori, cela ne changeait rien.
Je suis toujours sous la version 1.9.0-e0d1e203e

les fichiers de sauvegarde sont bien créés dans le dossier

je n'ai modifié aucun des paramètres de grisbi sauf coché la case "Effectuer
une copie de sauvegarde toutes les 5 minutes", arrêté Grisbi et redémarrer

La fonction de sauvegarde automatique est bien appelée (à 9h12) :

normalement, il y a création d'un nouveau fichier avec code date/heure ou bien

si je veux essayer avec un nouveau fichier de compte, dans quel emplacement
faut-il faire la sauvegarde et comment nommer le fichier de compte gsb. pour
optimiser les chances de réussite
Dans mon ordinateur, je ne suis pas en administrateur en usage courant. Est-ce
important? À priori non puisque les sauvegarde de début et de fin se font
correctement.
Est-il nécessaire de modifier le fichier de compte (créer une nouvelle
opération par exemple) pour déclencher une sauvegarde toute les 5 minutes ou
bien la sauvegarde se fait quelque soit l'état du fichier gsb

Oui, il faut que les données soient modifiées et *pas encore* sauvegardées
pour que la sauvegarde automatique soit faite.
Grisbi logue une ligne lorsqu'il sauve un fichier. Par exemple :

concernant le terminal, il fallait démarrer grisbi depuis le terminal et
ensuite utiliser grisbi, c'est bien ça.
C'est ce que j'ai fait, mais involontairement. Je n'ai pas fermé le terminal ce
matin après avoir envoyé mon message à 09h20. Le terminal a tourné toute la
journée et ma manière d'utiliser Grisbi n'a pas été classique. J'ai ouvert
plusieurs fichiers gsb les uns après les autres. Ensuite j'ai fait plusieurs
sauvegardes de mon fichier de travail en modifiant le nom du fichier .gsb (-1,
-2, -3 ...) Je pense que c'est cela qui a généré les fichiers de sauvegarde
vus par le terminal.
Je refais un essai demain en ouvrant un seul fichier et sans créer ces
sauvegardes volontaires.

bonjour
dans l'ordre, j'ai désinstallé Grisbi, vidé la corbeille, redémarrer
l'ordinateur et réinstallé Grisbi version-1.9.0-b77a43d3a.
J'ai ensuite créé un nouveau fichier de compte en acceptant tous les choix par
défaut, sans aucune modification.
J'ai coché la case "sauvegarde toutes les 5 minutes" dans les préférences ,
créé une première opération et refermé Grisbi.
J'ai redémarré Grisbi depuis le terminal à 07h22 et ouvert le fichier de
compte
J'ai créé une opération à 07h23 et une autre opération à 07h36 ou 37
à 07h48, j'ai sauvegardé le fichier de compte et refermé Grisbi
Dans le dossier Application Support/Grisbi/data, deux fichiers ont été créés

Mes comptes_20190924T074841.gsb

je vais essayer demain matin avec une cession administrateur, sait-on jamais!
Est-ce que vous pouvez faire facilement une version qui ouvrirait juste une
fenêtre avec un bouton OK, toutes les 1 ou 2 minutes, pour valider ce qui est
sensé déclencher la sauvegarde, mais sans faire appel à l'écriture sur le
disque.

J'ai regardé dans les sources. J'ai l'impression que la fonction
g_timeout_add_seconds () ne fonctionne pas avec l'utilisation du modèle
G_APPLICATION. Ce qui est curieux c'est qu'on n'a pas de message d'erreur. Il
faut creuser.

Pierre, la fonction de rappel est bien appelé sur macOS quand j'utilise une
compilation pour debug.
Par contre elle n'est pas appelée dans la version release (compilée
différemment sur macOS avec un autre Gtk+).
J'essaie de mettre à jour mon environement Gtk+ pour la version release mais
c'est pas simple sur macOS.
