You are in a "Reconcile" operation. You need to cancel it by clicking on the
"Annuler" button on the left panel.

I guess your macOS system is configured to use French and not English.
Please open the Terminal application and give us the result of the execution of
the command:
defaults read .GlobalPreferences AppleLocale
