I TRIED MANY TIMES TO MAKE THE BREAKDOWN TRANSACTION BUTTON APPEAR BUT IT DOES
NOT. I TRIED CHANGING PREFERENCES BUT TO NO AVAIL.

hi,

There is more button to enter the splits. 
You just fill out the form below which shows the fields to fill. Validation adds
sub-operation and so on. 
The validation of the sub-operation that cancels the delta between the sum of
sub-operations and the main operation go out the form.
